While on a religious pilgrimage in 1990, the mysteries of the rosary came alive for one of our member Knights, and he repeatedly stopped praying to jot down notes of his meditations. Finally, he asked in prayer, “Lord, what am I supposed to do with all these meditations?” He was amazed when an interior voice said, “MAYBE YOU COULD MAKE A VIDEO.” And with his eyes closed, he also saw the words in white capital letters on a black background.

After returning home, his Grand Knight asked him to serve as Church Director. In reply, he asked if he could lead the monthly rosary using meditations that had come to him in prayer. “Coincidentally, the council had just lost the meditations they usually used.

This led to “The Knights of Columbus Rosary” booklet. We sent out nearly 10,000 all over the U.S. Many wrote to tell us it was their favorite.

That was followed by “The Knights of Columbus Rosary” tape, featuring the original 15 mysteries of the rosary with meditations and songs. We sent out over 40,000 tapes and won awards for it.

Some years later, we were led to produce a tape/CD featuring the Luminous Mysteries, the Stations of the Cross, and a Children’s Rosary. We sent out about 2000 copies, but we have yet to make a video.

In the meantime, we are adding the Stations of the Cross and Children’s Rosary available on our web site for download, and due to numerous requests, we have recreated our rosary book with many additions, now called “A Knight’s Rosary.”

And of course, we have produced our two CD set with the original, award-winning 15 Mysteries of the Rosary, the Luminous Mysteries, the Children’s Rosary, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy with meditations on Jesus’ last words, and the Angelus.
